Longtime syndicated columnist, Art Buchwald said some pretty funny things and he touched on the wise occasionally. He said,

“The best things in life aren’t things.”

Truer words have never been spoken and is this not the lesson of today or what? For the times we are living in and for always. Have we not learned that over these past few weeks and are destined to be reminded of it every day for a while yet to come?

As you are most likely home, look around. Look at what you love. I hope it’s not a 70″ and Netflix. They have a place but have we not learned what is important? My prayer is that when you look around, you are not looking at stuff but those whom you love and may they be healthy and strong. Because they are not things. The best things in life aren’t things.
