The Sabbath is meant to be a day of rest. Well that’s one of the reasons. But a whole lot of you, my friends, are working this Sabbath. Take heart, we all have, especially those of us in hospitality. As you slave away while others enjoy their day off, keep this in mind. Be grateful for all things. Be grateful that you have a job that needs you to be there. You probably have people there too. Some would rather not be. Don’t make it harder on them. Make it easier. Lead the way for their performance with your attitude and honesty and leadership and good cheer. So be of good cheer. Celebrate right now. Celebrate your job and your people and their efforts today. Buy them donuts or Gatorade or popsicles and the hell with budgets and small thinkers. Buy them yourself! Just celebrate.

“One of the main reasons celebrating is so important is because it reflects an overall attitude of gratitude and enjoying what we have, instead of focusing on what we don’t have or only on what we want in the future.” Andrew Merle

Celebrate your life today. Celebrate those who love you.

Go out there and make it a Great Day!
