“God goes to those who have time to hear Him and so on this cloudless night He went to simple shepherds.” Max Lucado, writing about scripture found in the Book of Luke, Chapter 2, Verse 8-20, specifically of the birth of Christ and the shepherds role.

Most shepherds at that time were not exactly cool. They were almost outcasts. Only fit to be with animals in the pastures on the outskirts of town. They were necessary but not thought to be included in polite company. They smelled, they were not educated or refined. And yet, God saw fit to send not just one, but a Host of angels to declare to them that God would become man this night…and the glory of the Lord shone round about them! https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+2&version=KJV God chose these outcasts to first hear the Good News. Should that make us pause and think?

Evidently, they have value too. Perhaps God is making that point, that all have value. The poorest of the poor both in money and standing. Each has value and is loved by God Almighty.

So for 240, the obvious conclusion is that each of your people has value. Show them the way and they will follow. You can only show them the way, you can’t make them take your path or The path. Keep this focus throughout the year and see where your team is next Christmas.

God bless you, thanks for reading and a Very Merry Christmas to you all.
