As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them. John F. Kennedy
Thanksgiving Week is a great way to kick off the Holiday season. Many holidays for many different people. To start the season with a focus on being thankful, grateful, is appropriate I think.
However as our 35th President is saying, speaking words of thanksgiving is not enough, we must live by them. So this is not about how you choose to be grateful, if you do at all in your personal life but it is to encourage you to live your words of appreciation on the job. It is important to be thankful for your people and to thank them in words and deeds. To live your thanks to your team.
Holidays can be rough on some, try to keep in mind that you can lighten the spirit and the load for some without even knowing it by living your words of gratitude. Try to remember as you sally forth this weekend. Now let’s go make it a GREAT DAY for someone else.
