Does everyone know Mark Harmon? Peter Griffin calls him America’s greatest actor. He plays NCIS Agent LeRoy Jethro Gibbs on CBS. A tragic hero of sorts. But the character didn’t say this, the person did. “In the world today, it’s easy to quit. I believe in putting up a fight.”

It has a little gravitas because did you know he was a quarterback for the UCLA Bruins in the 70’s. And did you know his father, Tom was a Heisman Trophy winner. My point here is that he learned from his dad and experience how to not quit, to overcome…to put up a fight.

Have you had those days? I have. But do you or should you quit? Or should you and do you put up a fight? If you haven’t figured out one of the cornerstones of this blog yet is that I believe you should choose to never give up. You get knocked down, a quarterback, and you get back up and complete the next pass.

So you’re having a tough day. Get back in there. Put up a fight. Never give up on you or your goals or your dreams.
