“Don’t find fault, find a remedy.” Spoken by Henry Ford.
Yes, he was the guy that founded Ford Motor Company and the assembly line that revolutionized manufacturing. You might not know this about him but he was also in favor of his employees. Not necessarily a union guy but he did care for his team. He knew his success came from their efforts.
In a corporation like Ford, you can imagine things went wrong but he preferred to find solutions, the remedy. He knew you must learn from your mistakes but not necessarily assign faults. It doesn’t mean that you or your team get to repeat mistakes over and over but to hang it around someone’s neck not only demotivates that employee but transmits to your team what to expect if they make a mistake. And what do you get? A bunch of tentative followers that will not bring their best and will hesitate to make a decision.
Find a remedy. Help them find a remedy. Build clones of your positvity and they will take off and make you proud!
Now go Make it a GREAT DAY!!!
