The founder of the Chrysler Corporation, Walter P. Chrysler was a phenomenal businessman who was at the very beginning of the automotive revolution. He and his contemporaries created processes for factory work and employee management that changed how business was done and increased production efficiencies and provided improved conditions and benefits for their employees at the same time. Chrysler was generally known as being a good place to work as opposed to GM or Ford. Walter had a secret, he said,

“The real secret of success is enthusiasm.”

So his difference was enthusiasm. What is your difference? Do you care to be the difference? It is a personal choice. How will you run your department? Like a robot, like a boss, like a “manager,” or with enthusiasm. You can do the last two with enthusiasm and I am guessing that is what Walter did. Your team needs your enthusiasm, not your presence. Do what Walter did , use his secret of success and be the difference in your team.

Now let’s go out there and Make it a GREAT DAY!!!
