“As long as you live, keep learning how to live.” Seneca

We have spoken of this Roman before…or is he Greek. Either way, this is an insightful man. Remember, we put forth the wise quotes of the ages, it is up to you to read about these people or at least google them.

As you finish your week or prepare for the weekend remember that while you are living on the job, there are other things to learn about how to live.

Life has many facets and we discuss many with a focus on work and how to do it better. That is but one facet however. Seneca challenges us to learn how to live. To excel at work is one goal but we need to learn to live in a family, with another and by ourselves. We need to see the beauty around us; in flowers, a sea breeze, a blue sky, a deep commitment and love like no other.

Every day is precious and we can learn to live each of them. Read more good books, read more Scripture, forgive others, cook more, less TV, more children, less distractions of life and more substance. Recognize love when it is offered and return what is true.

It’s the end of the the week for most…at work. But the week(s) never end. When you leave one facet of life you move into another. Keep learning how to live. Celebrate with those you love. I hope you make yours a Great Day. It’s up to you.
