A simple thought on a Sunday, from an anonymous source, As you know, 240 does not usually go in for the anonymous drivel of lifequotes and motivational, new age nonsense. We use the words of the greatest minds in history and tie them to hotels & business and leadership. But a soft, simple thought for today…

A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you.

Friends are precious things, are they not? They are rare. True friends are rare, as rare as a fine jewel. If you are fortunate enough to have a friend, nurture them and your relationship. My Dad said a man is lucky to have 3 or 4 true friends and of course I thought that was crazy because I was almost everybody’s friend. But as usual, I found out that my Dad was right and now I can count my friend’s on one hand.

Local and business acquaintances aside, cordiality and neighborliness are one thing. True friendship is a gift from God. Do you have a few? Think of their names. Give them a call, a text or email is nice but a phone call is a bit more personal. Tell them you love them, because you do. If you have some repair to do, do it. Face it.

Done lecturing. It’s Sunday. Love your friends. Love your family. Love yourself. Now get out there and Make it a GREAT DAY!!!
