Most of what we write is based on the great thoughts of mankind, we speak of nothing but how to get better, do better and be better. Today, being the Sabbath, it is appropriate that we seek wisdom from Scripture as here you can not only find wisdom but forgiveness.

In the Old Testament in the book of Proverbs, Chap 4, verse 18,

“the path of righteousness is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

I would add my perspective here but I don’t pretend to add to the text. The morning sun on a day like today was early and bright and clear and if the path of righteousness, that is the path of doing good and right things is clear as the morning sun, then it is in our best interests to do right and do good from the moment we wake, driving to work, opening the office, getting our people to work and being the best and most honest we can until the full light of day. Do you see it any other way?

Let the full light of day expose us before God and our family, friends, co-workers, clients as good and true and honest. May we make the good and right choices for those who love us and may we handle those who lie and are dishonest and hurtful to us and our families with the righteous action it requires.

May God bless you today and may you think of Him as you go out and Make today a GREAT DAY!!!
