“Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason so few engage in it.” Sounds like Mark Twain but it is really Henry Ford, who needs no introduction.
This will tie into tomorrow’s topic from Thomas Edison but that’s for then. Thinking is discipline. If you go through the day by routine or rote, without thinking, how do you improve? Do you interact with others without thinking? There are an awful lot of individuals who need individual attention and that requires some thought and now I am just talking about professional relationships.
What of improving your product or your service? Might that require some thought? Your organizational efficiencies? Your agenda for your weekly or daily meeting with your boss or team. Are you just gonna wing it?
You’ve seen people who do, your whole life you have seen that. Are you one of them or will you tackle the “hardest work” for your family and on the job? As always, it is your call. I am just asking you to think about it. See what I did there? Now let’s get out and think about how to Make it a GREAT DAY!!!
