Elizabeth Barrett Browning, a hopeless romantic and not noted for her business acumen nonetheless has penned a sentiment that applies to both, she said, ” Who so loves, believes the impossible.”

OK, how is he going to tie this into business? Hang with me here. Let’s start with the basics. Love exists for itself. It remains when all else fails. Your best efforts to love someone to you, to love someone to health, to love someone to Christ, to love someone to success can all fail but that does not negate the love. As we discussed yesterday, love for the joy of loving but not for what you get in return. Although we were more poetic yesterday, go back and read it if you missed it.

So in business, I don’t think that you can love your team to success. But what I am saying is, what good is success without love? Just as you build the love in your family each and every day, you build it brick by brick and compound that love every day. So should you build your team. Day by day, brick by brick. Love the individual, love the effort, love the learning. Maybe sometimes success seems impossible at work, at any given moment, your task may seem insurmountable…but who loves, believes the impossible. Speaking for myself, I so love. I believe the impossible.

Go believe the impossible and Make Today a GREAT DAY!!!
