Today we are once again applying the laws of love to how we can apply them to work and Leadership. The source from an unlikely sort of wisdom is old time movie star, Marlene Dietrich who said,

“Love for the joy of loving, not for the offerings of someone else’s heart.”

So we should love for Love’s sake. Don’t expect it to be returned. If it is, it’s a blessing, if it’s not, you have lost nothing because love is to be shared for its’ own sake. Love is for giving not for barter.

This is my approach on the job. I love the hotel business and my team. I want what is best for the hotel and my peeps, so I will do my best for them every day with a smile on my face because I do love them. I also know that most would step over my cold corpse and not think twice about it but that is the point. I do my best for them because I should and I love them with no hope of return because why else love?

Do you not love your family, period? Whether they love you back or not. This is the nature of Love. Spread it around today. Love those that are hard to love but whatever else you do, help them make it a GREAT DAY!!!
