We spoke yesterday of what it takes to be a Great Leader or rather, what great leaders believe. Great leaders also know that they must set an example…The example. A great leader is exposed as Thomas Edison said,

‘What you are will show in what you do.”

Every action you do is under scrutiny. At work, you are observed at every level and from every angle. If your team does not know…they surmise. They attribute motives to every action you take or don’t take and every word you say…or don’t say. All you can do is be the best honest you that you can be.

Simple enough. Be honest in your thoughts, words and deeds and you will be consistent and an example for your team, co-workers, friends and family. Be the best you can be and be of good cheer in all you do.
