Here is a great tip.

“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door.” Spoken by Milton Berle, vaudeville comedian and TV comedic pioneer. Hilarious guy and not one I would think of for sage advice, but there it is.

So opportunity isn’t knocking. Is it because there is no door to knock on? Why should opportunity knock on your door? Better question, why are you waiting for opportunity to knock? Build a door and go out on the porch and look for opportunity down the street. Call it over and give it a glass of lemonade and GET TO IT!

Your opportunity lies with your team, at work or at home. Be a better person and manager. Look for an “opportunity” to serve, to learn, to teach, to nurture, be there when someone needs you. There are many kinds of opportunities…dont wait for it to knock.

Now get back out there and Make the rest of today a GREAT DAY!!!
