“Every man takes the limits of his own field of vision for the limits of the world.” Noted German pessimist author, Arthur Schopenhauer
There are many analogies for this phenomenon. A horse with blinders, can’t see the forest for the trees or even limiting your view to the horizon, when there is more above and below. The point being, there is more out there than you know. Do not limit yourself to what you know or even think you know. Be limited only by your imagination. There is so much you don’t know. There is so much out there that your friends don’t know, your parents don’t know, your spouse doesn’t know. Don’t let them limit your world or your vision. They will mean to guide and counsel you so that you are not disappointed…Forget that! Do not be limited by your vision but only by your dreams and imagination.
