Churchill was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom during the Nazi blitz. He never gave up. He also famously said, “Never, never, never, never, never, never give up.”

In life and at work you already know that you set the tone for your team. You are the conductor of your orchestra. Your team follows your lead. They will never give up if you don’t. This works at home too.

Optimism is not a mindless denial of reality. It is how you deal with it. What’s more, it’s contagious.
