Those of us that have spent our lives in the hotel business know that working weekends is part of the gig. We all work too hard. Not that you can’t work hard in other fields but for the most part the term “weekend” is not an over-used word in our vocabulary. Like I said, we all work too hard. So try to keep today’s 240 Pop in the forefront of your mind.

We have to laugh or some days we’d cry. Your people need to laugh too! They are working weekends right along with us and often without the prospect of promotions and transfers and congratulations and awards. You have the power to make them laugh. To enjoy when you become a part of their day. You are powerful and can make or break their day. Make it!
